About Me

My Story

My name is Lisa Mansson. My greatest ambition and passion in life have always been to help people lead a better life by offering a healthy and supportive atmosphere while tenaciously coaching them to be the best version of themselves. My main aim is to make my clients reach the top of their game and get them into great shape, both physically and mentally. Not only does this assist them in striking a balance between their professional life, personal life, and other commitments, but it also helps them figure out a way to enjoy their social life to the fullest without any restrictions or constraints, thus, facilitating them to get better sleep, feel less tired, and get more out of their day.

So, who am I exactly? Well, for this purpose, we need to delve deep into my past. I have always been an active person. When I was 8 years old, I started playing basketball and various other activities. I tried my hand at gymnastics, horse riding, football, handball, hockey, rugby, boxing, and even dance. I pretty much tackled every sport I was introduced to, and physical education ended up being my favorite subject in school.

However, during my College and University years, I completely quit playing basketball and rarely exercised. I ate junk food every single day, and Coca-Cola was my only form of liquid intake. Though I was ashamed and mortified that I had gained so much weight, I did not have the drive to do anything about it. Nonetheless, one day, I decided it was high time I changed and altered my ways. So, as an initial step, I signed up for a gym membership and hired a personal trainer. This absolutely changed my world! Not only did I find a fantastic coach who believed in me and got me into the best shape of my life, but I also learned a great deal about nutrition and how to create a balanced lifestyle for myself without sacrificing or compromising my social life. Within just a year, I went from being a couch potato, lying on the sofa depressed to losing 24kg, building muscles, gaining loads of energy, and I once again started playing basketball. This proved that one could do anything they put their mind to, even when embarking on a healthy regime. I wanted to be that motivator that my PT was for me. The gym is for everyone! Regardless of if you are new to the gym or already have a set routine or want some help to change or revamp it, I can help you live a healthy balanced life.

I received my Personal Trainer education and certification from Lifetime Fitness, UK, in 2019. It has truly been an amazing experience, and I have learned a tremendous lot about the body, nutrition, and exercise along the way, in addition to meeting people that share my same passion for health and fitness.

My constant dream is to guide you through your long struggle towards your fitness goals while helping you draft a plan of action and structure your everyday life together with your work, family, and other obligations.

My Vision

When it comes to working out, my vision is to share my experience and knowledge with all my clients. I want you to be comfortable in your skin and make you feel like everyone is welcome. Often when I talk to my clients, some of the most significant barriers and hurdles I come across when they take the first step are that they are terrified of the gym, feel inexperienced, or feel too unfit to workout. But that is precisely the point. Just come how you are, and we will work towards your goals and take it from there. I will create a custom workout plan exclusively targeted to you so you can excel towards your goals.

Physical activity is paramount and is something you should be engaged in throughout your life. The more you move, the more your body releases powerful chemicals known as endorphins that produce feelings of happiness and reduces stress.  From my personal experience, I can vouch for and believe that staying active and regular physical exercise can positively impact you, enhance your feeling of euphoria, and help boost your mental health just as much as it does promote your physical health. 

Just as Bill Bowerman, one of the co-founders of NIKE, said:

“If you have a body, you are an athlete.”

My Focus

I prioritize customer satisfaction, and my prime focus is geared toward enticing potential and existing customers by making them not only look but feel a certain way and strenuously determine their strengths and weaknesses. Despite working on both your strengths and shortcomings, we will concentrate and spotlight slightly more on your flaws. Nevertheless, even though you have hired me as your PT, it is crucial that you understand that you are solely the one who needs to put in the hard work at the end of the day. I am here to help you plan, push you to your limits, and go that extra mile. It is critically important that we communicate effectively. I want you to be satisfied with my service, reach your goals, and ultimately have a feeling of accomplishment.

Excercise

I will help you initiate your fitness journey and find the right type of exercise that suits your body and caters to your needs and lifestyle. I possess the knowledge and the apt tools to put together SMART goals for you. Whatever be your current fitness level, I want you to enjoy the form of exercises we do, and it should be something you look forward to and stick to when you start working out. We will focus on a multitude of techniques so you can reap speedy results and avoid injuries.

Nutrition & Sleep

Nutrition and sleep pattern are equally significant in your journey and pursuit to reach your fitness goals, achieve weight loss, and maintain a healthy body and mind. I monitor and look at your current nutrition and sleep habits and help you keep track of and plan your meals and your calorie intake. However, though I can guide, challenge, and steer you in the right direction as your coach, the final responsibility of staying focused lies eventually on youthe client.

What Type of Excercise?

I primarily focus and spotlight on functional exercises where we work and target the whole body. I make it a point to integrate my workout plans with influences from resistance training, Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and mobility training.


Final Thoughts

"The moment we realize that we are all built differently and have different challenges to overcome, we will know what we need to do with these differences and be motivated and inspired to make a difference and bring about change. I want to prepare each body for the challenges that life throws before us. Getting into better shape, having more energy, and most importantly, feeling better in their everyday life is definitely possible through regular exercise. "
